Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app
This is instant and removes everything immediately.
- Open CampBase NSW
- Open Camp Chat
- Tap your account circle in the top corner
- Tap Delete account and all data and confirm
Option 2 — request deletion by email
Use this if you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in.
Email us from the address your CampBase account uses, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm once it is done.
Requests are actioned within 30 days and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account and email address
- Your camper profile, display name and online status
- Your Camp Chat posts, replies, group messages and private messages
- Your campground reviews and photos
- Your saved campgrounds, packing lists, shopping lists, saved trails, trip journal and preferences
- Reports you have made, and notification tokens for your devices
What we have to keep
If you have paid for a Business Noticeboard subscription, we keep the payment and subscription record for as long as Australian record-keeping obligations require. That record contains no card details — Google Play handles payments, and we never receive them.
Deleting your CampBase account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel that separately under Subscriptions in the Google Play Store.
